Our History
The O'Donnell family moved to North Judson in 1973 after Jim O'Donnell received a call from Willard "Bill" McCormick about retiring and wanting to sell his business, the McCormick Mortuary. With the support of a local farmer Jim and Carol O'Donnell purchased the business and in 1975 it became the McCormick-O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc..
Jim and Carol both became very active members in the community and their two sons both graduated from the North Judson-San Pierre High School. Doug went on to continue the family business, graduating from Vincennes University and coming back to work along side his father in 1981.
In 1983 the name was changed to the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc..
After Jim passed away August 24, 2000, Doug and Lisa purchased the funeral home. In the hopes that they could continue serving their community with dignity and respect as his father did.
