Todd Norrell

On Thursday, February 5, 2026, Todd Alan Norrell, loving husband and father of five, passed away at the young age of 48. Todd was born on July 17, 1977 in Marietta, Georgia to Carolyn and James Norrell. Todd grew into the humble, kind and good hearted gentle man he was until the day of his passing. Todd passed peacefully at the Community Hospital in Munster Indiana surrounded by his wife and children. Todd attended Cherokee High School in Canton, Georgia. He married his first wife, Carrie (Marchman) Norrell, of Canton, Georgia, December 2, 2000, in Holly Springs, Georgia. They went on to have three children, Montanna Alexis Norrell, of Demotte Indiana, Hunter Lee Norrell, of Winamac Indiana and Halen Wylde Norrell, of Medaryville Indiana. Todd had been engaged to Misty Rose Kerby, of Medaryville, Indiana, since 2021 and became an amazing stepfather to her two children, Bailey Sue Kerby, and Phillip Maxwell Kerby both from Medaryville, Indiana. Todd was an amazing musician who enjoyed playing music and singing. He played several instruments such as the bass, guitar, piano, ukelele, mandolin and the drums. Todd enjoyed reading but above all else he loved quality time with his family. He was a gentle soul who would always the first to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen. He was never judgmental and treated everyone with love and compassion. He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Effie and Grady Goode, of Canton, Georgia and his Grandparents Betty and Denver Childers, of Holly Springs, Georgia. He is survived by his mother Carolyn Norrell, of Cartersville, Georgia, brother Brian Norrell, of Cartersville, Georgia, his Aunt Rachel (Terry) Nichols, of Holly Springs, Georgia, his Uncle Tracy (Lina) Childers, of Jasper, Georgia, Uncle Troy Childers, of Adairsville, Georgia, his Aunt Crystal (Robbie) Wingfield, of Adairsville, Georgia, his Daughter Montana (Kenny) Norrell, of Demotte, Indiana, his Son Hunter (Alyssa) Norrell, of Winamac, Indiana, his Son Halen Norrell, of Medaryville, Indiana, his Wife Misty Kerby, of Medaryville, Indiana and his Stepchildren Bailey and Max Kerby, of Medaryville, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 3:00PM to 6:00PM CT at the First Baptist Church in Denham, 6580 N 575 W, Winamac, Indiana 46996.
