Sharon Darlene (Budka) Pfost (January 15, 1951-December 31, 2025) Sharon Pfost, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of deep faith, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at the age of 74, due to complications from a sickness. Born on January 15, 1951 to James and Mildred Budka in North Judson, Sharon faced life’s challenges with extraordinary grace and resilience. For many years, she courageously battled multiple sclerosis, yet she never allowed it to diminish her spirit. She maintained a remarkably positive attitude throughout her illness and often shared the wisdom that guided her: “Never question God’s plan for you.” Her strong Christian faith was the foundation of her life, inspiring everyone around her with her trust in God and her unwavering hope. On October 25, 1969, she married Kenneth Pfost who preceded her in death. Sharon poured boundless love into her family, finding her greatest joy in time spent with her children: Tamara, Wendy and Kenny, grandchildren: Ryan, Riley, Rebecca, Brice, Brennan, Ridge, Kendall and Keaton, and great-grandchildren: Regan, Olivia, Shiloh, Kenna, Bennett and Brady. Her warm heart, gentle presence, and quiet strength touched countless lives. She is survived by sisters Nancy Foushi and Joyce VanKley along with brother Bruce. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard Budka. She is survived by extended family and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. Sharon enjoyed listening to audible books, watching episodes of Criminal Minds, Notre Dame football and never turned down a good Hallmark movie. She always looked forward to visits from close friends and family. Sharon’s legacy of faith, perseverance, and unconditional love will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 11 a.m. at O’Donnell Funeral Home in North Judson followed by a funeral mass at 12 p.m. Burial will take place at Saint Jacob cemetery in North Judson.
