Laynie Kaye Frazier

Laynie Kaye Frazier, born on April 26, 2025, in Lafayette, Indiana, passed away in Knox, Indiana, on June 15, 2025. Though her time with us was brief, she was a beautiful blessing who made a lasting impression on the lives she touched. Laynie was the cherished daughter of Kaleb Frazier and Briana Flowers. For her father, Kaleb, she was the little girl he always knew he was meant to have. For her mother, Briana, life without her sweet girl is unimaginable, leaving a heartache that will last forever. From the moment she entered the world, Laynie gave both her parents a profound and clear purpose. Kaleb saw her as an angel sent to guide him and give his life new meaning, and both parents will forever cherish her memory, holding onto the promise that they will one day run to her again. For her entire family, Laynie was a much-needed blessing. She arrived during a time of sorrow, and her sweet presence immediately filled their hearts and souls with immense joy and love, helping to heal wounds and open them to happiness again. She was the cutest and best baby, and while her family finds a small measure of peace knowing she is resting in loving arms, their hearts are shattered by the loss of their precious "Laynie-bug." Laynie is survived by a loving family who will miss her dearly including her parents, Kaleb M. Frazier and Briana J. Flowers of Knox; paternal grandparents, Ray E. Frazier of Knox and Jacquelin K. Knapp-Rowe of LaCrosse; maternal grandparents, Aaron and Kristin Flowers; paternal great-grandparents, Goldie Frazier of Grovertown and Mike Knapp of San Pierre; maternal great-grandparents, Ed and Nola Flowers of Fillmore, Indiana, and Chawnita Noel; paternal aunt and uncle, Kaden Frazier and Kendra Frazier of Knox; maternal aunt and uncle, Aerika (Jayce) Massena (Flowers); and maternal cousin, Dawson Massena. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Donna Knapp and Ray Frazier. A private family graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Oak Grove Cemetery in LaCrosse, Indiana. Arrangements are by O’Donnell Funeral Home, Inc. in North Judson, Indiana. Family and friends are invited to honor Laynie’s memory and support her parents, Kaleb and Briana, through one of the following ways: GoFundMe Campaign: A GoFundMe page, "Support Briana and Kaleb After Tragic Loss," has been organized to help the family with the financial ability to provide their daughter with a beautiful service without additional worry. Co-ed Softball Tournament: On Friday, July 26, a draft softball tournament will be held at the old Valparaiso Fairgrounds. The entry fee is $25 per player, and all proceeds will be donated directly to Kaleb and Briana to support them during this difficult time. The event will also feature raffle baskets, custom jerseys, and home run bracelets to raise funds. It is an opportunity for the community to come together in a show of unity and support. 10-56 Brewing and Catering Give-Back: On Wednesday, July 2, starting at 4:00 p.m., 10-56 Brewing and Catering, located at 2120 S US Highway 35, Knox, IN, will be donating 20% of all sales from food, beverages, merchandise, and gift cards to help the family. While it will never be understood why Laynie had to leave so soon, in her special moments with her family, she was deeply loved by many, and her memory will be cherished forever.
