Ted L French

Ted L. French passed away December 11, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Ted was born May 19, 1951 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Richard French and Shirley Johnson. Ted graduated Lacrosse high school class of 1969. He attended Indiana State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in Industrial arts in 1973. Ted was a teacher at North Judson and Lacrosse where he also assisted in coaching basketball. He then went on to work as an engineer in the fire protection business. He was employed at Mcdaniel's Fire Systems and Viking Fire Protection. On March 22, 1975 Ted married Nancy L. Christensen French of North Judson, In. They had two children Brian E. French and Brandon L. (Mandy) French of San Pierre, In. Ted adored his two grandkids Brylee and Brantley French, and a step granddaughter Myah Morrow. He is survived by his two aunts Connie French Forgrave of Mason, Ohio and Peggy French Bucher of Hobart, In. Ted enjoyed golfing with buddies, visiting with friends and watching the Chicago Cubs. He loved spending time with his family, and took great pride in his garden that he would share with family and friends. Ted is preceded in death by his son Brian, father Richard and loving stepmother Betty Wandrey French and a step grandson Myles. A celebration of life visitation for Ted French will be Friday December 17, 2021 from 4pm to 6pm at O'Donnell Funeral Home in North Judson.
