Elizabeth Theis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Elizabeth Ann (Luken) Theis, age 84, of San Pierre, passed away Thursday May 26th at IU West Hospital in Indianapolis. Liz was born in Medaryville to Edward and Agnes Luken on June 23rd, 1937. She graduated from San Pierre High School in 1955. She married Clifford K. Theis on May 12th, 1956, in San Pierre. She was a homemaker all her life and worked as a nurse’s aide for Little Company of Mary for a few years. She was a member of the All-Saints Catholic Church of San Pierre all her life. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and watching the Cubs but her biggest love was playing cards with family. Liz is preceded in death by her husband, Cliff, both parents, Edward and Agnes Luken, her brother, LeRoy Luken, and stillborn twins. Liz is survived by her 5 children, Keith Theis of San Pierre, Kimberly Howard of Kouts, Michael (Jackie) Theis of North Judson, Lisa Grube of North Judson, and Kris Ann (Shannon) Jordan of North Judson, her siblings, JoAnn Bullard of Logansport and James Luken (Lynn) of Sarasota, Florida, 11 grandchildren, Ivy (Greg) Hartsfield, Amy (Shawn) Messer, Brandon (Adair) Theis, Corey Theis, Sara (Mike) Morrow, Kara (Marty) Rasala, Madison Theis, Myles Theis, Luke Grube, Sabrina Theis, and Kelson Jordan, and 9 great grandchildren, Chandler and Kendall Hartsfeild, Trenton and Erin Messer, Mya and Macy Morrow, and Leona, Fallon, and Andelynn Rasala Friends may call after 11 AM CT Friday, June 3, 2022 followed by Funeral services at 12 Noon CT at the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc., North Judson, Indiana. Burial will be in the San Pierre Cemetery.
