Andrew Evan Croyle

Andrew Evan Croyle, 59, of McDonough, GA, formerly of North Judson, passed away on Feb. 3 at Tranquility Hospice in Marietta, GA after a sudden illness. He was born April 11, l962 in South Bend, Indiana to Paul and Kay Croyle, who survive. He is also survived by his brothers, Peter and John (Julie) Croyle, his niece, Cameron Croyle, his cat Sneaky Pete, his special friend, Danielle Moyer DeLane, and many other friends. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Howard L. and Esther Weninger of North Judson, Indiana and paternal grandparents, Chauncey and Hazel Croyle of Union City, Indiana. Andrew graduated from North Judson-San Pierre High School in l980 where he was on the football and golf teams. Andrew was named All State 1st Team Offensive Tackle his senior year. He also held the lowest 9-hole golf score for any golfer at that time. He then attended Western Illinois University and graduated from St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana. He played football at both schools. Most of his working years were spent in the semi-trailer sales and leasing industry in Indianapolis, Evansville, Chicago, Tampa, and the past 20 years in Atlanta. He was a big fan of Ohio State football, the Chicago Bears, the Indianapolis 500 and the Daytona 500. Andrew was known to many by his childhood nickname, Yogi. His almost larger-than-life fun-loving nature and sense of humor were shared and enjoyed by all who knew him. Andrew’s coworkers were like family to him, and he also loved entertaining and cooking for his many friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at the North Judson Town Park 4:30 PM to 7 PM CT, May 27, 2022.
