Reedie Shepherd

Reedie Shepherd, 89 years old, of North Judson IN passed Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Winamac IN. He was born Feb 15, 1934, in Hindman KY, Knott County to Pearl Shepherd and Sarah (Joseph) Shepherd. On Dec 28, 1957, he married Beverley Woosley in Knox IN. Reedie served in the United States Army from 1954-1956. He was a member of the American Legion for many years. Reedie worked as a Union Laborer for Local 81 for 50 years. Reedie loved to walk and walked all over town for as long as he was able. He loved to line fish for catfish on Tippecanoe River with friends where he had a trailer for 33 years. He loved country and bluegrass music and traveled to several festivals. Surviving him is his wife Beverley-North Judson IN Daughter Kim Nevo (Mike) Scharlach-Preston Mississippi Son Reedie Joe Shepherd-North Judson IN Son Gerald Ray (Kim) Shepherd-Winamac IN Son Jeffery Allen Shepherd Sr preceded him on Oct 30, 2009.
